Mike Hicks and the Funk Puncs (Funk, Soul)

Funk/Soul group, Mike Hicks and the Funk Puncs. The band is a Nashville based 6 - 12 piece (depending on travel considerations) which is led by Mike Hicks. The bands sound signifies the strong influences of James Brown, Kirk Franklin, Leon Timbo, and Sam Cooke. Hicks has also been touring for the past year with Keb' Mo'. His independent music career is well-known and well-supported by Keb fans all across the world, including Keb himself who has been a vocal supporter of Mike.

The Funk Puncs deliver a well-constructed, yet spontaneous show that has been lauded by the Nashville Scene as "entrancing". It is unapologetically hopeful and positive. The music is a reflection of who they are individually and collectively. They are the Funk Puncs.

Shannon Sanders (Neo-Blues, R&B, Soul)

As a producer/songwriter/musician, already, Shannon Sanders has earned two Grammys: India.Arie's "Voyage to India" (2002) and Jonny Lang's "Turn Around" (2006). His talents have also afforded him the creative opportunity to work with a myriad of other artists including John Legend, Marc Broussard, Eric Benet, Jesse McCartney, David Archuleta, CeCe Winans, The Temptations, Rissi Palmer, Mandisa, & many more.

His 2nd solo project "Grown Man Handbook", has gained Sanders media attention, even before it's release. The GMH is a musical manifesto for young and old men alike, but especially young African American men, to which he proclaims a message of responsibility and vision for one's future.

Jason Eskridge - Rose Music Group

Jason Eskridge (R&B/Soul)

Since moving to Nashville Jason has served as a studio vocalist for such acts as Lyle Lovett, Randy Travis, Jonny Lang, Nicole C. Mullen, Marc Broussard, eLi, Micah Dalton, Grits, Verbs, Circadian Rhythm, Sammy Ward, DJ Maj, and Toby Mac. Jason has also traveled opening or singing backup for Lyle Lovett, Nicole C. Mullen, eLi, Micah Dalton, Grits, Knowdaverbs, and Pigeon John. He has been featured as a guest vocalist on numerous projects. Jason has traveled across the country playing for youth groups and campuses as well as playing at various music venues. He has also had the opportunity to take his music abroad as he has traveled to South Africa, Amsterdam, and England. Currently, Jason has just released a six song EP entitled, "the ep...".

Arnold McCuller

Arnold McCuller (Blues/Jazz/Soul)

At some point in your life you have heard Arnold McCuller's rich and distinctive vocals that have captured the hearts and ears of many well-respected musicians and fans alike. Long time featured vocalist with some of the best recording artist around, including Phil Collins and James Taylor.

Arnold has also set out to further solidify his solo identity with his first recording in 1984, "A Part of Me That's You", co produced with jazz piano player, David Benoit. Then "Exception to the Rule" in 1990, with his long time friend Dana Walden. Since he has continued to bring his listeners new material with "You Can't Go Back" co produced with Bill Cantos, and guitarist Greg Poree. His favorite is his "Live at the Baked Potato", recorded at one of Hollywood’s most famous jazz clubs.

Arnold McCuller is acknowledged as one of the most expressive vocalist in the business. Whether performing solo or singing back up, his show stopping live performances regularly bring audiences to their feet. Arnold has been one of the music industry's most popular session singers. McCuller's voice has graced recordings by a virtual who's who of the music industry, including Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Bette Midler, and Brenda Russell. Johnny Neel

Johnny Neel (Blues/Soul)

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Johnny Neel, blinded at birth, cut his first single at the age of twelve as Johnny Neel and The Shapes Of Soul. As an adult, the Johnny Neel Band had a strong following up and down the East Coast and released two well-received independent albums, One Hot Night and You Shoulda Been There. Neel moved to Nashville, the premiere song writing city, in 1984. He immediately became recognized as a session A studio player. Others began to notice Neels songwriting talent and decided to take advantage by recording his songs on their albums.

Neel decided to join the reunited Allman Brothers Band, immersing himself in a successful tour, which led to a number one AOR smash hit during the summer of 1990. Car radios all across America blasted Good Clean Fun, from the Seven Turns Album, co-written by Neel with Allman and Betts. The chart topping hit provided the reunited Allmans with their highest charting single since Ramblin Man fifteen years prior. Neels songs have been recorded by such artists as Montgomery/Gentry, Delbert McClinton, John Mayall, John Louis Walker and many others. Johnny Neel is a recipient of the Life Time Achievment Award from the 2012 Grammys with his work with the Allman Brothers.

Philip Lassiter

Philip Lassiter (Funk/Soul/Pop)

Philip Lassiter's contribution and relevance to the music industry is as diverse and celebrated as he is. The short version of his impressive career includes three Grammy wins (for his work in the Gospel industry), section-leader, arranger and trumpeter for Prince, sought after songwriter and jazz musician, and also the musical genius behind the funk group "Philthy". This multi-instrumental vocalist brings a broad array of performance options and genres to the table. His diversity is a reflection of two decades of professional work with artists like Roberta Flack, Fantasia, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Anthony Hamilton, Ledisi, Timbaland, and many others.

Roy Futureman Wooten

Roy "Futureman" Wooten and the Black Mozart Ensemble

Roy "Futureman" Wooten is an artist known for bridging the gap between the past, the present and the future. Deriving from a rich musical background, Futureman is an inventor, scientist, musician, composer and four -time Grammy award winning performer with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.

Futureman has embarked upon a new creative journey with The Black Mozart Ensemble. Bridging the past with the present for a better future, Futureman is composing, producing, and directing a visionary new album/DVD entitled "The Black Mozart." This project celebrates the life and music of the “Black Mozart”, Joseph Boulogne de Saint Georges. This 18th Century maestro and swordsman made contributions that revolutionized the world of musical creation. Monsieur St. Georges was a revolutionary musician who dedicated his life to the rise from the ashes of a world steeped in the slave trade.

The Black Mozart Ensemble is composed of young virtuoso violinists and cellists under the direction of Futureman, and the music is complemented by the addition of hip hop artists, and actors/narrators. The music of The Black Mozart has a message for the ears, eyes and moves of today's modern world, and Futureman states that this composition, "The Black Mozart", is a personal statement of New American Classical Roots and Dance Music with social aspirations that embraces all races of humanity.
